| This is a collection of maps from the University of Alabama Map Library created by the Soil Conservation Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The purpose of the maps is identify important farmlands from soil interpretation. The maps date from 1975 to to 1986 and are presented at various scales on a county by county basis. While the collection is incomplete, it is the totality of the series found in the holdings of the University's Map Library. |
