This is a collection of 913 National Wetlands Inventory maps of the State of Alabama produced by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's National Wetlands Inventory Program in the early 1980's. These maps are at a scale of 1:24,000 and are designed to overlay upon the 7.5 minute quadrangle map series. The Wetlands Inventory maps and the 7.5 quadrangles share the same map name. The originals were reproduced on transparent film, with varying degrees of success. They are offered to our users in a PDF file format and are free for download.
